This print is inspired by my first ever visit to the Midwest this Summer. The bounty of visually and audially expressive critters, especially in the nighttime was so novel to me. I enjoyed imagining the ducks, lightning bugs, crickets, frogs, crayfish, and turtles in the rural wetlands of Indiana having secret bluegrass music festivals on Summer nights.
